I used to sneak and watch Benny Hill when I was a wee lad, back in the early 1980's.
When I think back on it, maybe my folks actually let me, before the national and global media rating system kicked in!
Every night, after the news, and the Muppet Show (don't ask me why any network would chose that lineup order), this brilliant and talented man would introduce me to the world of fast-paced, bawdy, but keenly smart humor, just as I was getting used to watching anything other than cartoons.
Racy, yes, but never vulgar, and turns out that the real man had a heart of gold.
