FAQ: WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
A: As an agent/sponsor, you’ll be in regular contact with local (Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas) venues and businesses to promote and/or recommend MJ Darling as the solution for their entertainment needs.
You’ll be the liaison between the talent and the client, familiar with MJ Darling’s service menu and noting by questionnaire what event the client may want to put on, their budget, size of the venue, where and when the event will happen.
The information comes to me to and I discuss and/or determine with you and then with the client whether or not it makes sense to move forward on it.
At this point, you’ll synchronize the will, needs and availability of both parties and upon agreement, facilitate a 50% deposit transfer (linked inside the agreement) to which agents are entitled to from 15-17% of the total agreed amount per event date.
The base minimum for performance is $350 per 3 hour duration plus any add-on premiums that clients may both order and also make deposits on up until as late as midway through the event. Agents successfully closing deals of $500 or more earn maximum commissions (17%).
Every time I play for your Client, YOU get paid.
Any prospective event must be no less than one month from consideration and must submit both agreement form and deposit no less than 3 weeks before the event date to officially secure the Talent for the upcoming event.
Distributions to agents are on a monthly basis and may be subject to either a 1099 or W2 tax form submission.
Your presence is also encouraged at events to process immediate feedback, approval of add-ons and future bookings made by the client during and after performances. Attendance of events warrant maximum commission rate. Agents may bring a “plus (+) 1” free of charge in addition to up to 3 guests and their +1s as well for half-off pending admission.
